ECHOPREZ™ EHG is multifunctional ingredient, and it can be used in a broad range of cosmetic applications. It is a skin care additive acting as an emollient, an active in deodorants and in general a preservative booster.
ECHOPREZ™ EHG is a medium spreading emollient. It improves the refatting properties and extends the smooth skin feel of cosmetic formulations. In addition, it is a very effective active component in deodorants and finds important use due to its inhibiting effect on the growth of odour causing bacteria.

APPLICATIONS
Typical use concentrations of ECHOPREZ™ EHG as skin care additive, deodorant active and preservative booster is 0.3% – 1.0%. It is effective in pH-ranges from 2 up to 12.

INCORPORATION AND COMPATIBILITY
Due to its surfactant-like structure ECHOPREZ™ EHG can have an influence on stability and/or viscosity of emulsions. It has a calculated HLB of approx. 7.5 and can influence a given emulsifier system (oil-in- water and water-in oil). The use in surfactant systems might lower the viscosity of the formulation. Due to its low aqueous solubility, ECHOPREZ™ EHG is best added to the oil phase of leave-on formulations or to the surfactants of rinse-off formulations.
